Invitations and reminders

Sharing a link by hand

Sometimes email is not the right channel: the invitation went to spam, the candidate says it never arrived, or you want to paste the link into a chat. Copy link, in the invited list's row actions, creates an additional secure link for that candidate and shows it once, together with a ready-to-paste version of your invitation email (subject and text) that you can send from your own mailbox. InterviewClip itself sends nothing when you use it.

A few things to know:

  • The link is shown only once and is never stored where it can be viewed again. If you lose it, simply create a new one.
  • Copy link is additive: any link the candidate already received by email keeps working, and all of a candidate's links share the same deadline. Resend is different: it replaces every earlier link (including hand-shared ones) with a single fresh one. Use Resend when the old link must stop working (a wrong address, for example) and Copy link when you just need another way to reach the candidate.
  • Creating a link for a staged (never-invited) candidate counts as their first invitation: it sets the deadline and moves them into the funnel.
  • If the candidate marked an earlier email as spam, InterviewClip will not email that address again automatically. Sharing the link by hand is the intended recovery.
  • Copy link is available to admins and HR on active jobs, and each link creation is recorded in the activity log.
