Jobs

The job lifecycle

A job is the role you are hiring for. It owns its questions, its candidates, and its rules. Every job moves through four states.

Draft

A new job starts as a draft. You can build it freely and even add candidates as pending, but you cannot send invitations yet. Drafts do not count toward your active job allowance.

Active

Activating a job lets you send invitations. An active job counts toward your plan's active job allowance. Archiving or closing it later frees that slot.

Archived

Archive a job once its hiring is finished. Archiving is allowed when every invitation that was sent and is still live has either completed or expired. Archived jobs stay readable for history.

Closed

Closing a job is an admin-only action that immediately stops it accepting responses and cancels its open invitations. A candidate who opens a link to a closed job sees a polite "no longer accepting responses" message. An admin can reopen a closed job later.
